BQ FTYPE 32.00**2.00DO NOT ERASE! VERY VITAL!!!! 1 Why I want to go to Japan I saw the entry form for a contest to Japan.I wanted to do this essay because I have never been to Asiain my whole life. (Exactly 12 years 2 months 3 weeks and 4days) It is very strange that me an oriental child who was΁ρԁ born from Asia, has ΁ŁցŁҁ visited Asia. (Now that's thetruth!) I thought to myself that this was my chance, finallyaway from my annoying older brother and all the boredom athome. (Especially my brother!) Besides, my brother is goingwith his orchestra to Korea to play, and I'll be all alonewith my parents. (Have Mercy!) They don't have the sameinterests as I do, the only game I'll play is studying. (HotDog) I thought of all the great things I would observe, do,eat, etc in Japan. So I entered the contest as soon as Icould. I'll tell you a little something about me. Nothingspecial. I have black hair, black eyes, and a littleextensive head. People say that it's a big rock on myshoulders. (No joke) Because it's most common that Asianpeople have bigger heads then western people. That's what mymom told me. I weigh about 85 pounds and stand at4 foot 8. (Kinda dwarfish stuff) In movies like the Karate Kid II, when the movie takesplace in Okinawa it really suprised me. Not that it was takenplace in Okinawa but the fact that Japan to me has been knownas a rumbling, industrious city ready to make quick cash tome. But I saw farmland, green grass, and clear seas wherechildren run around happily playing in the water or on thecool green grass. I have heard of places like Kyoto, wherethe ancient shrine of the Heian period or the 300 year oldSuizenji garden where banzai trees still grow. If I win, Ishall finally see these sights where actual ancient thingswere once. I have always been fascinated by the Japanese comics. Imyself do drawing as a major hobby and I draw my own comics. But I never have enough time to draw. Japanese comics haveoriginal styles of drawing. They draw the Japanese comicswith the man or women's nose very sharp, like Golgo-13, aJapanese crime fighter comic character. I have never met aJapanese artist but I would like to. He or she might teachme new tips and tactics to improve my art that I have neverheard of. So I could impress my schoolmates When you eat a piece of sushi, most kids would sayYuck!, How Gross!, Get away!, You like that stuff?!.Truthfully, they, that is, the people who say yuck and allthat are missing out. Sushi tastes very satisfying to somepeople, and a lot of American people like it too. Fluke,Tuna, and Salmon are some examples. All sushi really is, israw fish with some soy sauce. Nothing really sickening whenyou think about it. The only thing gross is, is watching aperson take a fish, cleaver up it's insides, and serve it.Trust me, don't watch it coming from a FRESH fish just out ofthe water with blood still in it, because then you rememberhow it looked like in the middle of preparation. I heard that most of the famous video game companies arelocated in Japan. (I'm a kid, and have natural kid interests)Like Nintendo, Sega, Atari, Neo Geo, Konami, Capcom, Sunsoft,Super Samicom, Turbo Grafix, Coleco Vision, Namco, andBandaii. It's kid of amusing when you think about it.America is so slow that when America comes out with SuperMario 16, Japan will probably be coming out with Super Mario34. It'd be neat to watch a company in the process of makinga game. All together, Japan equals out to be a world of powerand beauty. Don't think I'm trying to flatter you reader, I'mnot a Japanese wacko, loony tune, quack. But, I like Japanalot more then the average Japan fan. (Do you understandclearly what I'm trying to say? Not confusing?) Now that you have see my reasons to go to Japan and seethe famous sites and do something and try something new. Ihope you have found my essay interesting, and humorous. And I leave you with one thing"Saku Boon. Oh Yong Deh.Arigato" (It means, thank you for reading my essay)
